SongSelect

Overview

SongSelect is an online resource featuring the lyrics of thousands of songs, sound samples, chord charts, lead sheets (melody line) and hymn sheets (4-part harmony). Included is a music player, to play the music on the lead sheets and hymn sheets, and transpose the music.

SongSelect Features

Here are the features found in the various versions of SongSelect:

Feature Description Lyrics SongSelect has the song words for over 53,000 songs sung in churches. Sound samples 30-second sound clips, to help you get a feel for the song, or choose between similar songs. There's over 20,500 sound samples available. Chord charts The chords for playing with guitars and other instruments, for the top 4,900 songs. Lead sheets The song melody line, for the top 8,900 songs. The melody can be played in the player, and also transposed. Hymn sheets 4-part harmony (also known as SATB) arrangement, for the top 2,500 songs. All four parts, or any of the individual parts, can be played in the music player. That is helpful for getting to know the songs parts. And the hymn sheet can be transposed into another key.

We're continually adding to the content of SongSelect: adding more songs, and more of each of those features. We not only add more to extend the range, but whenever songs are released from the top songwriters, we also update SongSelect right away.
